TITANS end season in 1st place
The TITANS finish out the 2007 season defeating the Falcons to give the TITANS a 7 and 2 record !!!! TITANS lead the league and finish in 1st place.....In a tough battle between the Falcons the TITAN defense really stepped up !!! Defensive leaders were Vincent Polimeni with several tackles in the middle stopping the Big Bad Marcus Bentley.....Maury Washington had 2 touchdown saving tackles catching the running back from behind....also stopping up the middle with excellent tackling was Joey D 'Alessandro, on the outside we had gang tackling from DJ Wells who was in on just about every play! Brandon Hudgins protected the outside along with Cole Tenety who took down Marcus Bentley on an outside run. Noah Berzner had an excellent day stopping runs up the middle along with Chris Atkinson,Tyler Townsend,Jake Lehman, Nicholas Perrotto,RJ Duhart,Dylan Carter, D'Angelo Harris and Gabe Lovelace
The Offense had excellent up front blocking by Matt Curtiss, Vincent Polimeni, Tyson Fenn, Joey D'Alessandro,Ryan Rizk,Will Reynolds and John Glenn. Center Ryan Philcox and QB Cole Tenety had a perfect game where no snaps were fumbled. Ryan Rizk and Matt Curtis had key blocks to spring Maury Washington for a 50 and 41 yard TD runs. Brandon Hudgins had a 14 yard run to set up Maury for the 2 TD
A combined team effort led to a win in a tough battle, but an especially great job by the defensive coaches Kyle Hudgins and Derrick Wells to keep the powerful Falcon offense to one touchdown.

Chris was a great football player and a Huge reason for our teams sucess. We are all going to miss him. I don't think Chris had ever played tackle football before, but you sure couldn't tell from the way he played.Football and being part of this team changed Chris. When he first started he was a timid shy kid. After his great sucess he really started bonding with the other kids. More important he started to emerge as a leader.Something everyone of our kids can do. Chris is a great football player, but even more important he's a great kid. I will never forget seeing Chris hit some kid and knock them into the middle of next week, and then 2 plays later he's crying because he has sweat in his eyes and it burns.Also keep in mind his Dad Omar who I am sure misses Chris more than we could possibly know. Keep the kids up.....and remember we need to play to Chris's standard......Lets GO TITANS
